So, the LAPD has reopened the case of Christopher Jordan Dorner’s firing for false accusations against fellow cops. The public relations giant Chief Charlie Beck explained to us by written statement released Saturday, 9 February 2012:
I am aware of the ghosts of the L.A.P.D.’s past, and one of my biggest concerns is that they will be resurrected by Dorner’s allegations of racism within the department. Therefore, I feel we need to also publicly address Dorner’s allegations regarding his termination. I do this not to appease a murderer. I do it to reassure the public that their Police Department is transparent and fair in all the things we do.
The written statement appears to be released only to trusted media. I was unable to find it online with reasonable effort if it were intended to be found. I am supposing the above excerpt is contiguous, but the way facts are sloppily reported to make the establishment happy, I can’t be sure.
My point: even though the LAPD has a vested interest to reassure public opinion of the local executive government’s fitness to rule, there is His Lordship, the Community-Organizer-In-Chief, and all his means from your fruits by bankster magic founded on the existence of US dollars. Dorner can easily, if not correctly, be marketed as a stand-up, grudgingly militant, progressive victim, except for killing the relations of ex-cop Randall Quan, or because of it once we get that far. Isn’t sugar and spice and everything nicely violent what tyranny is made of? Look for an imperial spin and leverage of this crisis.
As Prez-elect Barry’s former Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel told us all about the Hegelian dialectic:
So, Barry, did the police act stupidly?
How will you work this little gem? If the LAPD are going to give away a new truck to replace the one they shot up, will you give away two?
Disarm and manufacture crisis as needed. Rinse and repeat.
Cherchez la femme.
