In style there is no doubt that Donald Trump trumps all the Republican contenders for the 2016 nomination. Nevertheless, this is yet again just circus for the plebs. Even Château Heartiest believes Trump could make a difference for us for a change. When will you fools learn? If Trump is a real threat to the establishment, which he isn’t, he will be emasculated. History does not lie like a politician.
I could mention the Hunt Brothers, but let’s look at the antitrust legal case United States v. Microsoft Corporation 253 F.3d 34 (D.C. Cir. 2001). Bill Gates and Microsoft were beat by the verdict of a district court. Microsoft was to be broken up like AT&T of old. The judges at the next level, the Appellate court, overturned the ruling.
If you think the political elite are looking out for you, or that women are looking out for men, you are an idiot. I will presume for us thinkers that there is a shadow elite of executives on top of the global order with an administrative elite of politicians and the like at the next tier down. The political circus is about infighting of the administrative elite. It matters for them but not you.
Bill Gates had not played ball with Washington, and Microsoft was too big to not be part of the system. Evidently, the monopoly problem got ‘fixed’ when Bill Gates and Co. integrated into the control grid.
From “Microsoft’s Window of Influence” by Rajiv Chandrasekaran and John Mintz at the Washington Post, dated 07 May 1999:
Today, as it fights a government antitrust lawsuit that could threaten its corporate existence, Microsoft is scrambling to recover from its years of languor in the nation’s capital. The company, a flagship of the New Economy, has embarked on an all-out crusade to win friends in Washington that draws from every page of the traditional political influence playbook.
Today, retired Billy Boy is a good globalist mouthpiece. We can win the War on Poverty by saving every last dimwit for cultural annihilation. We can solve climate change with global government. We can eradicate every disease but tax farming. lol
